[Vantage 5.10] Job to BOM

We had a custom program written to do this. The user opens the app and enters a part number. It then lists all the job open numbers that have not been started for that part number. You can then select all jobs or specify specific jobs to update. It then updates the BOM and Material lines to the latest revision and reschedules the job. We looked for someone to share the costs of development with us awhile back. We also had another program written that lets a user add a material line to a job directly without the need for them to get in Job Entry. Our Purchasing department uses this to add misc material lines and our AP department uses this to add Freight Bills to jobs. This allows us to capture as much of the costs as possible to the Job. We also had a third app done at the same time. If we want to stop a job at a specific operation then the Production control department opens the job then opens the operation they want to stop at and puts a checkmark in the VB form. We then have a trigger that unreleases the job after the previous operations is completed. All three have been very useful. If your interested you can contact me directly.
