Call Epicor. They can email you a document you will need. In it is instructions on how to setup the ODBC connection. You will need to add a user to the progress database and run a few programs on it to truncate field descriptions. Its all in the kit they can email you.

I am trying to setup ODBC for Vantage 6.0. In the past I had used the Merant 3.5 ODBC but now want to try the "out of the box" ODBC provided with Vantage. I have no clue how to set it up and can't find instructions in the Epicor ePortal Answerbook. There does not seem to be any documentation for this in the install/upgrade guide either.

Anyone know if it is on one of the disks or available somewhere? Does support have an ODBC setup guide?

PS - Another reason for this post is to see what's up with posting delay. Post I made at about 10:am CDT about ShopVision has not shown up yet and Phil's post about attached documents shows and Sent-to-Received gap of almost 2 hours. Yahoo is really slow today.
