Vantage 6.1. We have been doing live labor entry for a month or so,
and have been running it to payroll testing the accuracy of our
people. We are getting close and plan to eliminate our old time
cards and time clocks soon.
There are several issues we are struggling with that perhaps others
have already dealt with and would be willing to share their
solutions or ideas.
How does everyone track attendance performance? In our old time
card / time clock system we currently track absences, either
approved or unapproved (call in sick), and if they are tardy or
leave early. Vacation days that are planned ahead are put into
Vantage ahead of time so they flow to payroll, but what if a person
needs a day off next week but is out of vacation time? It is an
excused absence if approved, but we would still like to keep track
of those so we can spot any trends that develop. Has anyone found a
report that someone could run that would point out any absences or
tardy / leave early occurrences for any given time period so they
can track overall attendance performance? Who at your organization
handles this responsibility, and how do they do it?
If anyone currently using 6.1 live labor entry and payroll could
describe their procedures, responsibilities and any reports they
use, that could be a big help to us.
Thanks.
