Vantage 8.03.407a Bringing in Consumables from AutoCrib

I'm theorizing that it might be possible through a BPM. There are some
advanced techniques where you can make calls to other BO's (such as
issue material). Say do a daily or weekly list/paste into a UD table
and have your BPM monitor that....

I knew someone would mention Service Connect. ;) I'm hoping to find a
way to accomplish this without investing any more in the Vantage
system...

If you had service connect you could probably use that to 'issue'
materials to the job...

We're using AutoCrib to manage the logistics of consumables (tools) in
our manufacturing environment, and as a consequence, we're not tracking
tool-cost in Vantage. When issuing any tools from AutoCrib, the
operators must enter both the job number and the part number, so the
data we need exists in the AutoCrib database.

We would really *like* to be able to track their cost, but I'm not sure
how to pull the cost-information from AutoCrib back into Vantage. Can
someone please enlighten me on this?

Thanks.
