[Vantage 8.03.410] Customization Job Entry Screen

That's kind of a tough one as all that is built into the BL... you could cheat around it with some .net code perhaps, maybe try leaving the control unbound and then create a form or control event, like when the value changes call a sub that calls the Otrans Update method, I've done stuff similar to that in the past..

A user defined field. Specifically Jobhead.Shortchar01. I'm not dead set on that though, I can make it a UD table if that will help to make it work correctly.

How can I force a ultracombobox field to be enabled even after a job is released? Similar to the way the Job Code field stays available? They want to be able to change the value as needed without having to un-check released and engineered on the jobs.

In the same area, where would I trigger a BPM to default that field to a value? I was running the trace logging when creating the job from a Sales Order but I couldn't seem to figure out which to use.

How can I force a ultracombobox field to be enabled even after a job is released? Similar to the way the Job Code field stays available? They want to be able to change the value as needed without having to un-check released and engineered on the jobs.

In the same area, where would I trigger a BPM to default that field to a value? I was running the trace logging when creating the job from a Sales Order but I couldn't seem to figure out which to use.
