Good morning all.
I've noticed several threads on this lately but I've come up against a
few problems with it myself. We have a couple of Windows 98SE machines
running vantage 5.1. They load vantage in a reasonable time, the same
as other machines but there is a lag of about 5 seconds when selecting a
menu item. I've tried everything that I've seen suggested such as
uninstalling progress and cleaning the registry of any orphaned entries
relating to progress and any old previous installs. I've deleted the
vntgwork directory and made sure the network card's speed is set to the
same as the server - ie not auto sensing but nothing seems to get rid of
the lag time. Does anybody have any experience with these sorts of
problems?
