How can I get an invoice for the 10 hours of support as well?

another 9.7%.
last year it went up 9.4%.
We are having a hard enuf time keeping the doors open let alone paying
bills
like this.

Although I cannot use the argument that support stinks!
I think the support level get from Vantage is exceptional.

Just kinda curious what you guys are thinking about his and what you are
doing about it?

Doesn't Epicor Offer a limited support package? So many phone calls and
access to the website? That might be significantly cheaper. If I was
to upgrade this during the year I don't know if I would try it.

There is life without support but it requires faith in your own skills, a
ton of good luck, oh and this list. We only had support for the first year
after we installed Vantage and haven't paid for it since. Now granted we
are on 3.X (I think one of the few left). Our upgrade path will be long and
painful when it comes time. But we can't justify the costs. This list has
been invaluable, and I bet Epicor has a love/hate relationship for this
list.

So what do you do when it isn't an EMERGENCY but you still need some help?
Do you just call upon this group for that? Do you bring in a consultant
(Epicor or otherwise) occasionally?

I was told by Matt Christus that the 10 hour plan was no longer available
for 2003.

Well I've been working with this product for about eight years, so that
really helps on the technical issues. We have seen it all with Vantage.
This group is good help and the web site has answers to loads of things. We
also have good users...contrary to popular belief people in the south are
trainable. We just handle things the best way we know how. I mean that's
what they pay us the small change for isn't it?
