I really need your help, I made a little change to “JC17.RPT” WITH CRISTAL REPORTS.
Now I get an error massage, trying to print my job traveler .
I saved a copy before I made any changes. I replaced the file, this did not fix the error.
ERROR: “ENTER PARAMETER VALUES” ---->(TAB) PM-USER—>VALUE (DROP DOWN LIST IS BLANK) OR (FILL IN)
---->(TAB) PM-COMPANY----->VALUE (DROP DOWN LIST IS BLANK) OR (FILL IN).
THERE ARE MEANY TABS

Wow … Haven’t used Vista 4 since 2007. Is yours FoxPro based?
Have you tried entering your user id and the company code in those fields?
Also … any sub-reports being used?
YES I AM USING FOX PRO BASE.

Holding dow the ALT key when hitting PrtScr, should limit it to just the current window.
Each of those tabs is expecting a value, so the report knows which data to use.
It’s been too long since I used V4, to remember the details. But generally speaking, when you run a report, you enter (or is entered for you) the values the report needs to run. I assume that’s what you get when you choose to print the Job Traveler from that Job Entry window. So there’s probably a tab for PM-JobNum This would expect the JobNum (48273-1 - if I’m reading your picture right). It should be filled in by the Program. Not sure why it’s not.

And putting a copy of the original RPT back on the server didn’t fix it?
I PUT IT BACK, AND IT IS STILL NOT WORKING.
THEIR ARE 3 LOCATION OF THAT FILE. WHICH ONE IS IT REALLY USING.

Have you successfully edited a report in V4 before? Can you summarize the process?
I have a backup of our entire Vista 4 system (just the files, not installed or running on a server). There are many topics on Reporting, in the V4 Help. Like:

I’ve opened JC17.RPT in “SAP Crystal Reports 2013 SP1” and see that it has several embedded sub reports. But each one only takes 1 parameter:
Pm-jhead.JHJOB
