Did you deploy it and create a customization? (You have to do that first in Epicor)
Yes, It has been deployed and a customization has been made
The only other thing I can think of, is, are you 100% sure that you are connected to the same database?
Without more details about your setup itās pretty hard to tell where something went wrong.
Iāve scrolled through this post and saw mention of the tool causing VS to crash and reboot with no project loaded but couldnāt identify the solution found. I have the settings as:
Client: C:\Users\hitzed\Desktop\Epicor\Epicor Multi Tenant\Client
Download Folder: C:\Users\hitzed\Desktop\Epicor\Developer Documentation\Customizations
DNSpy: none
I canāt seem to find any log files located in the client folder nor the download folder that I specified. Could you assist @josecgomez?
Did you download the Helper dlls?
Is it possible to make this tool available for studio 2022?
Possible, yes, worth the work, probably not.
With the coming of Kinetic WebUI this will no longer be useable, so itās not worth putting in the work to make it compatible.
You can, however, still download 2019 and use the extension with that.
Thanks for the response, I will just continue to use 2017.
Will this work with 2022.2.x Epicor ?
I donāt see the binaries on VS Marketplace site
thx, Scott
I was trying to work out how to create these the other week, but sadly itās a bit out of my depth and had all sorts of issues with dependencies. Happy to be shown how though, if anyone has the time.
Someone remind me next week and Iāll compile them for 2022

Brandon does the āCheckā serve as Joseās reminder or does that mean somebody successfully compiled them for 2022.2.x ?
thx, Scott
It means that Iāll annoy him until he does it. Working on that now.
Nag⦠nag⦠nah geez! Here it is, now get off my back! ![]()
Thanks Jose much appreciated.
Thanks for updating these, I watched the install/setup video and downloaded the 2022 needed binaries.
The video says to copy the contents of the .zip file to the āEpicorā folder
Is this my epicor client software installation folder or is this the folder for the epicor extension under visual studio ?
thanks, Scott
Epicor client folder
Make sure you unzip and unblock the binaries (if blocked)
After the upgrade to 11.2.300.0 (Pilot) it seems I can no longer use the Visual Studio Extension for Epicor.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension and copied the binaries again to the client folder.
When I try to use āOpenā to open a customization Visual Studio shuts down
Do we need a new version for 2023.1.x ?
I am on VS 2017
I havenāt released a new version of Library for 300. Iāll see if I can work on that this week
