What-If Schedule a Locked Job

We have a couple of jobs that we locked in place in the schedule. I just updated out production calendar to reflect some holidays that I hadn’t entered yet. Now the locked jobs are overload on the holidays. I would like to test out the what-if schedule. I want to pull the jobs in a little sooner so they finish before the holidays.

What is the right way to do this? Should I unlock the job, then do what-if scheduling? Or can I do what-if scheduling while it is locked? Can I see a what-if schedule if I just unlock the job? I want to see where it will push the load around.
Thanks!!
Nate

I never tested it, but it may be possible to run global scheduling on What If scenario while simply ignoring locks

Same for scheduling menu from job entry

Edit : typos

I think you can only tun that on if you “schedule multi-jobs”. Right?

Here the field help:

Use the Ignore Locks check box to override scheduling locks. This check box is only available if the Multi-Job functionality is enabled. The default setting is clear, so that by default the locks are respected.

I think you are right about Multi-Job
