WIP qty Blank Title 131639

All,


We have a problem with the WIP quantity for a job. Production qty was 1800 and we shipped 1764, so the WIP should be 36, and when we look with the job tracker at shipments we have made, all the transactions total1764 perfectly, but when looking at the first screen (job tab) and Make to Order subtab, the Shipped field show nothing. Therefore the WIP is still 1800.


any ideas would be appreciated.

I forgot to add:


 We don't want to change the Production Qty down to 36, so How can we change the shipped field to reflect the right shipped quantity of 1764?

Thanks, Patrick. When looking at the Shipments tab in the Job Tracker, "Our Qty from Mfg" is correct for each record, and "Our Qty from Inventory" is 0 for all the records. Also, "Our Stcok Shipped Qty" is 0 for all the records, and "Our Job Shipped Qty" is 1764 for all the records. So it seems that the shipment was not done from Stock.


 Any other way I can check?

Hi Daniel, Have you looked at the customer shipment entry and confirmed that the "shipped" check box on the Header tab is checked? The shipped quantity in job tracker will not update to reflect the shipments until this check box is checked. I would also look to see if the Work In Process Report shows the correct quantity shipped in the shipped column. Another place to check is in the Job Closing screen, Does the shipped quantity display correctly in that screen? If the shipped quantity shows correctly in the Work In Process Report and in the job closing screen then the system has recorded the correct quantity shipped but is not displaying it correctly in job tracker.
