I have seen this error before at my clients, but not recently. I believe
that the resolution is to copy the prosql32.dll file from the Progress\bin
directory on the server into your windows system directory (or just the
windows directory, not sure try them all). It was about a year ago that I
saw this, but I am almost sure that is the resolution.

Also, you can search the Epicor Eranet for document 149MPS that lists some
common ODBC troubleshooting guidelines.

I'm wanting to write some Crystal Reports from "scratch" using data
from Vantage, however I can't access the system because of a problem
with the ODBC Driver. The error message I receive when I try to start
a new report is

string.... Disconnected because of PROGRESS client/server version
mismatch (642).......Error establishing Open Interface Driver
Connection (2575)"
Does anyone have any ideas?
