Steven,
We have run into this problem before and found a fix that works about 90% of
the time.
1. Log out of Vantage on the affected workstation.
2. Clear the entire contents of C:\VntgWork.
3. Reinstall the Vantage client and Progress client on the workstation
(over the top of the existing installation).
Hope this works for you.

Subject: [Vantage] XP Workstation & Progress Report
I am having a situation where our new XP-Business workstation users are
running Progress Reports, such as "Scheduled Shipments" under "Order
Management". Report Builder reports and Crystal Reports have no trouble
at
all.
When she does a print preview of any Progress Reports, a series of about
five errors pop up, with only an "OK" button response. The error
basically
says "**All or part of BUTTON CLOSE-BTN is being placed outside of
DIALOG-BOX DIALOG-1 by setting ROW. (5905)".
Once you have pressed "OK" on all of the messages, the report appears,
fine
and dandy.
Her screen resolution is at 1024 X 768. When I put it at 800 X 600, she
signs off and then back on, and the errors do not appear. Of course it
would drive her insane to have her resolution at 800 X 600 all the time.
I found an article on Eranet regarding a W98 station (340.639MPS: PM error
5905 for One Windows98 workstation) but it did not provide any insight.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue, allowing her to keep her 1024
X
768 resolution?
Will upgrading to the new 5.1 system help? Will upgrading only the
Progress
software help?
Thanks for any advice!
