32-bit or 64-Bit?

Groovy! I was pretty certain it wasn't 64-bit, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you, Ned!

How does one tell(for sure) that my E9.04.506B install is 32- or 64-bit? Our install was done by another company. Our Epicor904 folder is not in the default location. It resides on our D: drive. In the Program files folder , there is an Epicor folder, with an empty Epicor904 folder. In the Program Files (x86) folder, there is a client folder, and it has data. Nothing conclusive there. I looked in the client, and the admin tool. Cannot find anything. Anyone have any other ideas?
Try looking in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Mine says "Epicor
9.05 x64 (SQL)" on the server.

Brian.

Our install was done by another company. Our Epicor904 folder is not in
the default location. It resides on our D: drive. In the Program files
folder , there is an Epicor folder, with an empty Epicor904 folder. In
the Program Files (x86) folder, there is a client folder, and it has
data. Nothing conclusive there. I looked in the client, and the admin
tool. Cannot find anything. Anyone have any other ideas?

Unfortunately, the only "Epicor" thing listed is the admin console. :(

It's not 64-bit.

While you can put any version on a 64-bit computer, as far as I know, Epicor
did not become fully(mostly anyway) 64-bit until version 9.05 with OpenEdge
10.2. The only exception being Linux which did have 64-bit before the
windows version did.

However, if you are a 9.05 user, you can check the mfgsys.ver file in the
Epicor905 folder which will tell you.
