[6.1] MFGWRK61 Folder for Thin Client TS sessions

Did a little browsing around in old group messages. Can someone confirm the following...
In PlantFloor.mfg file setting "TempDoirectory=" and leaving blank will default to the user temp folder?
There is another reference to using "C:\temp\%user%" so force creation of a folder for each under temp.

Pros/cons to either method?

Thanks
-Todd C.

Subject: [Vantage] [6.1] MFGWRK61 Folder for Thin Client TS sessions

Now I know why there used to be a lot of threads about thin client issues and the work folder for Vantage. I have determined it is causing my weird print issues. All the thin clients are sharing one C:\epicor\mfgwrk61 folder and tromping on each other.

What is the best practice method for giving each TS user their own folder? Subfolders under C:\epicor? Folders in each user folder? And how to I assure that each user logging in point to the right place? When I install Vantage for a location I specify the work folder location. Is this unique to that location or does each TS user need a special .ini file?

Thanks,
