Brad,

If you have access to EpicWeb go to this link and under Service connect -> release 9.05.603 there is a user guide ebook that is sometimes useful.

Do not use part.updateext, should be using just part.update.

Overall you have everything right it sounds like. Could you post a screenshot of the workflow?

Service Connect newbie working in 905.604 and struggling with some of
the basics.

I created a very basic workflow. It's just a file drop for the input
channel.

Start -> conversion -> "Part.GetNewPart" -> conversion ->
"Part.UpdateExt".

The package begins, calls the getnewpart and then ends with a success
condition.

It never moves on to the update...

Does anyone have an idea as to what I'm missing? The documentation did
not have a lot to offer here.
