The directory security for ProgramData in win7 or Application data in XP is not allowing the write. for us this is usually from the initial launch of Epicor being done by an admin and the user then does not have rights to the directory. We remove the directory via the batch file below with Epicor closed and then when the users opens Epicor it is created with the user as the owner.
