Advanced Material Management V6.1

My understanding is they are intentionally lost.
The way I understand it, the AMM is intended to make parts available to the
next operation, not to track the details of what enabled them to be
available.
I wanted the ability to report scrap with report qty button, but the above
was an abbreviated version of why I was told it would not be included as an
enhancement.
I know, this is not what you are looking for, but it's my understanding at
this point.

That is exactly the problem, the WIP tab. We understand it, what we have is
material disappearing from the WIP tab, I believe its because the next
operation is being marked complete so any previous operation WIP is cleaned
up. Also once a job is closed all history of the AMM moves are lost. Does
anyone know if they are saved/

Can you be more specific on what type of problem. We
find the WIP tab a bit confusing and don't use it much, but what
specifically are you noticing?

Is anyone using the AMM in V6.1. If so are you having any problems with the
WIP tab in the part tracker screen?

We are new 8.0 Vantage users and have been anxious to use CorVu.
Epicor finally got it installed but I don't know how to load our data
into it. Can anyone out there help me? We've been waiting for
someone from the proper department at Epicor to call us but so far
they have more important things to do. Also, can I get an opinion on
whether the Epicor training is recommended?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi,

When epicor installed it they should have setup some batch files to
schedule the extraction. You should be able to view these through
windows scheduled tasks.

If the data hasn't been extracted at all then there is a particular
order to do the first extraction. Epicor should be able to tell you
over the phone.

Check that there is a schedule task operating.
