After 701 upgrade, cannot modify dashboards

Hi Joe,

Yes, there are two patch files for 701 relating to dashboards and customizations as they both have problems. Sometimes with customizations you make changes and they didn't stick.

You have to paste these files in to your client folders.

Epicor.Mfg.UI.Dashboard.dll
Epicor.Mfg.UI.EpiClientLib.dll

You can get them from Epicor support.

HTH,
Ross

Hi All,

I called Epicor but so far do not have an answer. I thought I would see
if anyone in the group has seen this issue.

We upgraded our database from 9.04.507a to 9.05.701 to start our testing
of 701.

We have a few databases that are deployed as DLLs so I went to redeploy
them. When I opened them, the first thing I noticed was that layout of
the dashboards were all messed up. I moved everything back into place
but then noticed that I could not save the dashboard. The save icon is
disabled. I also noticed that the Deploy menu item is disabled too.

I checked out all the other dashboards that we made and the same is true
for them too.

Anyone else run into this? Did you get a fix from Epicor?

I am able to edit my dashboards and change an updatable dashboard and deploy again.

I should add our DB went from 9.05.607A to 9.05.701. it has only been up for a week, but seems to run faster and the three things I checked so far have worked....well now 4 things.
