Anyone using the Aging Hold & Mass Credit Update process? If so, how often do you schedule the mass credit update process to run? Nightly, Hourly, etc?
We’ve tested several customer/order scenarios in our initial round of testing and there is some concern that it’ll place existing open sales orders where either active jobs or already purchased materials against on Credit Hold. Which would cause havoc.
I’m trying to really nail down from finance how they want/expect Aging Holds to work but not having much success.
We just start using both Aging Holds and Mass Credit Update when we moved to 10.2.400. We have the process scheduled to run every 15 minutes. We also created a dashboard that is reviewed in the morning and then once in the afternoon. Individual invoices can be manually taken off aging or credit hold and once that is done, the system process ignores it.
Thanks, we’re still testing here, this is lower priority than other items so got pushed out longer. /sigh. The dashboard is a good idea, we already have a credit hold one that may suffice or just need tweaks.
