Highly recommend test environment first. In our testing we have found out it broke several of our customizations and BPMS. No major fixes, but minor ones that took some time to locate the problem. Mostly GUID's that changed for no reason.

We are planning on installing 9.05.604 this weekend to fix a handheld issue related to custxpart and the part master.

Unfortunately, we don't have enough time to completely test this version. So I was hoping someone RUNNING 9.05.604 in a live environment could give us a "heads up" on any show stoppers.

Thanks,

You should at least test the Service Pack installation on a secondary
machine first. I have installed it a couple times and occasionally have
required the registry fix similar to the ones that have been needed
previously.

We have been on it for a week. It fixed a lot of problems in .603 for us.
You need to install a Progress HF prior to the installation, so I recommend downloading all the files you will need prior to the weekend to save time, as they can take awhile. I think the .604 SPK was something like 1.4GB to download.

It seemed to take longer to run the updates etc. this time.
I also have a 64Bit server, though I am running the 32 Bit install, and each time I do an upgrade, I have to run the fix file to repair the registry or the SPK will not load. I believe someone else mentioned this. It is called "xxxcleanup64.reg"

I would also recommend that you have your license file for the product stored on the server so you can re-import that if needed, but you should not need to do that.

Start early so that you have enough time to get it done and are not still running conversions 8:00AM Monday morning.

DO NOT SKIP THE STEP OF COPYING YOUR EPICOR905 AND OE FOLDERS!! If things go badly, you can restore those and continue business, otherwise....

Good Luck,
George Hicks

I second that! Our upgrade to 603 deleted a couple non-Epicor
executables I had placed in the Epicor905 folder.
