Auto Job Closing/Completion process?

I was looking into when we have Job Closing/Completion scheduled to run. My thinking was it’s a process we can schedule like MRP, but that doesn’t appear to be the case… Can someone remind me where I can find when Job Closing/Completion is scheduled to run?

In E9 there were Job Closing / Completion parameters so I was going to check on this screen, but I can’t seem to find this menu option in E10…

Job Closing and Job Completion Processes are under Job Management - General ops
Job Complete/Close parameters are under Job Management - Setup

Thanks @anyac I do see several menu items related to Job Closing and Job Completion but I can’t figure out when Job Closing and Job Completion runs. I read the application help and still can’t figure this out. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Hi Eddie,
Use Parameters Maintenance to create closing and completion codes for jobs. After you’ve setup the code go back to the Auto Job Closing select it as Recurring & save process set, then click process. We run ours scheduled to run hourly. We only use the Auto Job Closing as this will only close the job if complete. If you start to see the jobs not closing refer to the Job Closing Exception Tracker.

Thanks for the reply. You mentioned you scheduled the process to run hourly. How did you do this, where did you set these parameters?

In Auto Job Closing Process where is Auto Job Closing defined? I have the same but when I look in Process Set or Schedule Process Set I have no process names Auto Job Closing. So I’m confused as to where the Schedule for “Auto Job Closing” is defined?

I found the schedule is defined in System Agent Maintenance. Although the more I dig into this, I’m starting to think when we upgraded to E10 our Auto Job Closing / Completion processes didn’t get ported as I don’t see any recent entries in Job Closing Exception Tracker and in the System Agent I see a daily schedule but no tasks associated with the schedule…

Can someone help, as I’m thinking we don’t even have Auto Job Closing or Completion running…
