I have checked all permissions and they all seem correct. Thanks for the
input.

Do you have permissions on the folder where you are copying from and
copying to set up right? We just finally got the batch file to work.
Problem was that I sent the backup file to a Z: drive instead of the UNC
path. Once we changed this the batch file now works. Before the batch
would launch but would not actually create the file because after hours
the system admin was not physically logged on to my network so no z
drive existed.

As a follow up to this. I tried to set this up as a scheduled task on my
2003 Server and it gives me a permissions error. I am logged in as
administrator.
Has anyone had a problem setting up scheduled tasks on 2003 Server?

Hello all,
Does anyone have a guide with batch files how to backup database? We
work on test db. We would like to have a backup at this point and
also we want to use current test db in actual Vantage later.
