BAQ - Crystal Report & Sub-Report Help

One of my Crystal tricks is to add the option field from the master as a "subreport link".  Right click the subreport and select "Change Subreport LInks..."

Then - go into the subreport and go into the Report-->Select Formulas-->Records...

Then remove the added subreport links.  The variables will remain in the subreport and you can use them in any and all formulas - record selection and all others.

Hi,

I am trying to create one BAQ Report with two Option fields (Start Date & End Date) this would the master report.  In Crystal I have setup the master report with several Sub-Reports, each sub report is a BAQ report.

Each BAQ queries different tables from Vantage but they all run based on an "Date" Option field.

some use "WHERE Date between StartDate and EndDate" others use "WHERE < StartDate."

I want to call the Date rang in the master report and have the subreports link to those dates as their option fields.

I hope this makes some sense.

has anyone done anything similar?

Can anyone please help.

thanks in advance.

If you mean passing date parameters to a subreport(s)
-- I just uploaded a PDF to the files section that describes this
