BPMs are Gone Blank Title 136269

Its been a while but as far as I can remember BPMs do carry from 8 to 9 and to 10 though in 10 they have to be manually converted. However if that didn't happen you can easily export / import them into 8- 9 and then they'll carry to 10 just fine.
Thinking about it now though if you are using the DUU it may very well not carry the BPMs to 9

Hello,

We are in the beginning stages of upgrading from Vantage 8 to Epicor 10.  When I went to take a look at the BPMs on the E10 box, I found that they're all gone.  They're simply not there.  I went to the Epicor 9 box that we used to upgrade from 8 to 9 (to then go on to 10), and I found that the BPMs aren't there either.

It looks like when we went from 8 to 9 our BPMs were lost, and when we went from 9 to 10 they simply weren't brought over because they were never on 9 to begin with.

Has this happened to anyone when they upgraded from Vantage to Epicor9?  Could anyone shed some light on this one?  It's very strange that the BPMs wouldn't be brought over from 8 to 9.  Is there a conversion/upgrade tool for BPMs that I missed?

I don't think they came over automatically from V8 to E9.
Don't remember if there was a tool.
I was able to manually export/import some while others had to be rebuilt from scratch due to changes in E9.

Have you looked at step 9.9.2 in the upgrade manual?
I thought you needed to convert ABL Code to C# Code...
Hmm so they have to be manually export/imported from 8 to 9 it looks like.  Then from there, perhaps again manually from 9 to 10?  You are correct, you do have to convert the ABL to C#, but I was hoping the BPMs that were done without code (using the designer instead) would just be brought up.  I didn't expect these BPMs to work correctly coming from 8 to 10, but surely they would at least be available for adjustment.

If someone upgraded from 8 to 9 recently.  Did your BPMs carry over to 9, or did you have to manually export/import?
