Closing PO's

Maybe it's just a user who is in the habit of re-opening SO's in order to
look at them and then not closing them properly afterwards. After
implementation I found that I had to urge people to use trackers whenever
possible when all they needed to do was check something.

We have come across this problem. We have many open PO's that have all the
lines closed. The way I understand it is that when the last line is closed
on a PO, it should close the order. For some reason, we have a stack of POs
that stay open even after the last line is closed. Has anybody come across
this problem? What could the cause be? Is it how we are receiving the
items? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know why it happens. But you should have utility under the
"Database Conversions" menu to fix them. Title is something like "reset
purchase order status".
