We are struggling to get the job scheduler to respond to material that has the constrained flag turned on in part maintenance. Started a PO using the part number that feeds the parent assembly, ensured that the constrained material flag was on in part maintenance. Ran global rescheduling and the job doesn’t move. Note we have the APS module but are not running the MRP module.

Hi, as you’re not running MRP, the system can’t take care of constrained material, for me you have to run it, and then Po sugg, & run global scheduling.
The result we had with constrained material, is that you move your job with the date of arrival of your material, ignoring the due date of the need. that mean the system don’t ask to accelerate po, but sugg new po and push the job to it.
