Correcting the "Check Number Currently Loaded" number

I believe that Epicor has a routine you can run to correct this - they sent
it to us at one time and I still have it. It may be compiled for 3.0 (I am
not sure) - we never got around to running it and have upgraded since. I
think we are still doing the override as well....if you are interested email
me offline and I can forward it to you.

The database usually uses the highest check number it finds in the A/P Check
Header table and adds one. Did you enter in some manual checks, or test
checks, etc. at one time with a high number perhaps/maybe? If this isn't
the case (we have seen it many times before), then I am not sure what could
be causing it.

We have written Progress code in the past to correct/change check numbers
that were erroneous, thus restoring the proper "Check Number Currently
Loaded" number.
