Cost by part class

I would look to the PartTran table. As a start filter on the gl account
for the part class, fiscal period, TranType. Add the costs and make
sure it ties to your financial report (make sure you don't have too many
or not enough transactions). Then do a grouping on the part class and
you should have your totals.

Subject: [Vantage] Cost by part class

Does anybody know of a way to obtain the monthly expenses by part class
even though the GL accounts are the same?

I have several part classes on purchased parts. Each part class goes to
only 2 GL accounts, direct or indirect material. How would I create a
report that could separate the costs associated with each part class?

Thanks,
Jasper
