Is there a field in the database for vendors and customers for created when, by who, and changed? I can’t seem to find any. Seems odd for SOX compliant software.
Have you looked at the change log data directive?
It will be a data directive on the table you are looking to track changes. You can select specific fields and events (added, updated, deleted). Then the change log tell you the when, who, changed details.
