Crystal Error

Hi all,

I duplicate the ApCheck Form to modify with another dataset and connect
it to the new XML file in Visual Studio but when i want to switch in
preview mode i got an error :

"Failed to load database information"

"crdb_adoplus.dll could not be loaded"

I put the lastest path of Crystal 10 and i got this dll on my computer ,
did someone knows how to solved that ?

Thanks.
Thanks to Sarah I have my new driver working but when I go into Crystal
reports and either run
a report or create a new one and run it I get the following error:

ODBC ERROR: [MERANT][ODBC PROGRESS driver][PROGRESS]**Unable to understand
after
--"DECLARE".[247]

After I click ok on this screen I get one that says "SQL error".

Does anyone know how to correct this?

Thanks!

Sandy
You need to go to egroups and download the file below. Double-click on the .reg file on the workstation in question. Should fix you right up.

Don't know if my thanks made it since my connection dropped, so.... Thank
you, Troy, that worked perfectly... now if only someone would fix my
prowin32 errors in GDI.exe without me having to put in another video card...
oh, well, can't have it all!
We added a field to the Packing list in 5.0 and can not preview or
print when that field is added. I get a Error 599. Previous
postings suggested upgrading Progress to 91D and I did but still can
not use the revised pack list. HELP!! Any suggestions would be
great.
We are on Vantage 6.0 and Crystal 8.5. When attempting to link to tables
together (InvDtl and ShipDtl), I get an error saying "The keywords LEFT
OUTER JOIN were not found in an outer join escape sequence." I have checked
all the link options and they are all set to SQL Join type "Equal =", which
I believe is correct.

Any suggestions?

Hello Kelly,
Call Vantage support and ask them about the outerjoin fix program. I
believe this will fix your problem.

I'm trying to use the Invcdtl table in a report and I am getting this error.

ODBC error [MERANT][ODBC PROGRESS driver][Progress]Column_Desc in table
PUB_Index has value exceeding its max length or precision.

Can someone please tell me why I am getting this.

Thank you,

Fredy Venczel
I have a report in Crystal that errors when trying refresh. The error is
"MM- sorting error (7722)". Anyone know what is causing this? I have the
Part, PartBin and PartTran tables grouped by Part.PartNum and it's
default sort is by the group. It will not allow me to remove that sort.
