Mary,
The other distribution option is using the Crystal Web Component Server
(Crystal 8.0) or Cystal Enterprise (Crystal 8.5). With this method, you set
up an internal Web Server on a NT, Win2K or XP Pro workstation. Once set
up, your users access the reports via their web browser and view the report
seeing live data. It works really well for us once it is set up properly.
It has two advantages over the 'compiled' method of reporting.
1. You don't need ODBC set up on each client computer.
2. Reports are located in one place on the server, and once created they can
be modified without affecting the client installation.

Subject: RE: [Vantage] Crystal Report Sharing
I have written a crystal report that I want other users in Vantage to be
able to refresh and print. It is my understanding that they do not need a
full version of Crystal to do this. But when I go to their computers to
try
and open the report, it asks me what program to use to open it. I just
can't figure out how to save this report so that the other users can work
with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mary Horsey
