IMPORTANT: Premier Education Program 3rd Party Policy
Important reminder when registering for third party software classes...

The Premier Education Subscription offers free Vantage software classes
but excludes third-party software courses as part of the subscription.
At this time, the affected third party courses include; Introduction to
Vantage Business Intelligence (VBI) 8.0, VBI System Administration and
Crystal Reports. Refer to Epicor Learning for more information about
exclusions (see About Registration and Fees) when registering for
third-party courses.

10 but I have no idea how to use it (we are still in the implementation

Amazon.com for like $30. That's what I'm using to get started.

My three cents worth...

I strongly recommend taking some sort of Crystal training. Crystal reports is a very full featured report generation tool and while you may be able to get some of the basics on your own you will definitely enhance your ROI on the product if you utilize some of the more advanced functionality.

As a side note, I have seen a "Crystal Reports for Dummies" book at Barnes & Noble if you're really just looking for Crystal 101.

selection and much better pricing than Barns & Noble.

The Complete Reference Crystal Reports 10 (Version 8 is hard to find but

While it's true that I have never used Crystal reports, I have used MS Access for both creating databases and reporting.
Is there any comparison here?

My three cents worth...

I strongly recommend taking some sort of Crystal training. Crystal reports is a very full featured report generation tool and while you may be able to get some of the basics on your own you will definitely enhance your ROI on the product if you utilize some of the more advanced functionality.

As a side note, I have seen a "Crystal Reports for Dummies" book at Barnes & Noble if you're really just looking for Crystal 101.

Does Epicor have a Crystal Reports 101 documents? We are using version 10 but I have no idea how to use it (we are still in the implementation stage).
I recently saw that all 3rd party training is not included in the premier education package and I would like to avoid having to pay for the class.
