Crystal Training Recommendations

I was pretty satisfied with the class offered through Epicor that was
presented by a guy (Blair Harvey?) from Seagate (now Crystal). The
advantage over a class directly from Crystal was they used the Vantage DB so
it was more "real". Having other Vantage users of varying experience levels
in the classroom also helped. I have not looked at the training schedule to
see if it is still offered. From your location a class in Minneapolis would
avoid airfare costs if you drive but that would depend on their schedule and
your urgency. I almost took a class Crystal was offering in Chicago and at
that time they were pretty frequent there. I had some background in Access
reports as well as a fair understanding of RB by the time I took the CR
class so it was pretty easy to pick up. I had also "played" with it enough
before hand to be familiar with the screens and functions and have a good
list of questions in hand. Having an understanding of table joins would
also be good.

Hi Group

I would like to solicit recommendations for Crystal Reports training, in our
case version 8.5. What may be some prerequisites? What mode of training
would you recommend; classroom, onsite, web based, purchase resources? Who
would you recommend; we are located in central Wisconsin? Thanks in
advance!!
