Custom Field as Password

Is there some special format to make a field display ***** as a password or sensitive data type input?

We had a customization done but the consultant dev that did it, didn’t bother setting the field as a password type so it’s not hidden when it’s typed. This is for a custom pop-up that appears inside a BPM.

What version are you on? I think 10.2 has field masking capabilities.

Our version is 10.2.100.7
Does anyone know how you would mask the field?

In field security, you can set how many characters are displayed on the right or left, very similar to credit card setup.
