I’m having a strange issue where the dashboard label controls are the name of the control (like EpiLabel1 or lblDueDate).
I have to change them everytime too.
If I correct them then save and deploy the deployed dashboard is okay.
If I go back to edit the dashboard it resets.
On further testing this also applies to drop downs. The default value in the drop down is the name of the control which skews the results.
This only seems to apply to controls that have been added since the latest update.
Epicor has acknowledged this as a bug. I’ve found that the labels only look wrong in the developer though. You shouldn’t have to fix them every time. You should be able to go straight to deployment and confirm that the labels are still set to what your customization even if it looks wrong in the developer.
I’ve noticed this when users run the labels.
If you have this problem it persists when you export the dashboard definition even if you fixed the labels and saved before hand.
I found this when moving it to live.
I ran the dashboard as a user as I no longer trust Epicor and it showed the label names not text. I had to fix it in Production and redeploy.
Epicor really needs to step up their QC.
