Set up a Vantage user (not just shop floor) for enhanced users. In the
Vantage user, check the box, require Password for DataCollection.
In the shopfloor user for that user, assign the Vantage user ID (bottom
of the screen). Now when they enter their ID, they will have to enter
their password.

Once a DC user "Signs in" to Plant Floor, any employee can enter their
employee ID to clock in, begin activity or move material (and so on...).


Is there a way to secure this? Obviously, we would like to grant
employees
different rights (productions/supervisor/shipping...). What would stop
an
employee with material movement rights (only) from logging on with a
supervisors ID and accessing all of the supervisor tab?

Maybe I'm out of luck on this one, but its worth a shot.
