How about a webcam with an active motion detector software.
Just curious, do you have employee photo's displaying in data collection. I
make it a point to tell everyone during training. If you are standing at the
station using the mouse or keyboard and your picture is not on the screen it
will be grounds for a written warning and possible termination.

Subject: [Vantage] Data collection security
I use data collection on the workshop floor with 90 odd employees. We use a
basic setup with 15 pc's around the planet with a keyboard and mouse. I
export the data also into our payroll system and believe I have a few
trouble makers in the workshop who are clocking other employee's on and off.
Has anyone got any suggestions for a more secure way for employee to log on
and off that isn't open to others interfering?.
