DataCollection Password? V5.1.131

I'm not sure about 5.1, but we edited the Data Collection start up batch
file to include the VantageLogin password we set-up for all of our data
collection units.

This question is for those of you who have already applied patch 5.1.131

One of the "fixes" in this patch is:

* In Shop Floor Interface, when an employee clocks in, a DC Password window
appears, prompting for the password that allows this user to clock in.

Can this be shut off?
We don't want to have to add passwords to data collection users. Just
supplying an employee number is adequate for us.

Under USERS their is a check box for "DC Passwd Required". Give it a try.

In user account maintenance (under security maint) there is a checkbox to
turn this on or off on a user by user basis.
