Data collection-valid employee 4.0

Terry,

I ran across that once at Walco. I called Epicor service and they sent me over a file to remove that person from data collection. Then you just clock that person back in and all should be well.

I have a DC user trying to clock out of data collection. I can see her
listed in the window but when I enter her clock number I get "A valid
employee ID is required". Checked the log files, event viewer-nothing. I
can select other employees in the window.

Some of you have run across this before. What to do?

I have had a couple people unable to log on - almost as if V has forgotten they exist. I went into User maintenance and checked Expire Password & Clear Password and this fixed the problem.

Also, check ProMon to make sure they aren't logged in multiple times.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rick.

Problem solved. The employees were switched from hourly/active shop
employee to salary/non active shop employee after they clocked in for the
day. Switching them back to fixed it. Was able to select for clock out.
Then put them back to salary, left the active shop employee checked, zero
labor rate and clocked back in.
