Dick / Todd,
Dick you were right on. Both a user printing vantage PO's and a user
printing AP checks were missing data on the crystal forms. Both had ABRA
installed, I uninstalled ABRA and the Vantage forms printed OK. My solution
is to create an XP CPU which both users can access via XP's remote control
for their ABRA sessions.

Same issues here between Vantage-V4 and new version of Abra.
Solved it by installing VMWARE on the key machines with W2K as the VOS.
Only installed Vantage on the VOS partition and problem was solved.
Not very elegant but it works well. VMWARE was $ 300/pc
Congrats to the folks at Crystal for screwing up their upgrade so nicely.
Not even remotely backward compatible and some high level executive probably
got a big fat bonus for making that decision. The expectation at Crystal
was, evidently, that even though they now sell their product to tons of
different software companies to bundle with their products we would all stay
current on all packages so that these issues would not occur. Sheer
brilliance. I'm truly dazzled by the decision.
Makes you really warm and fuzzy that Progress is pushing us toward Crystal
as our do or die report writer ...

software. Their crystal report dll's are from an earlier service patch. I
tried installing Abra first, and then vantage, but I still had cases where
crystal reports in vantage were missing data. I ended up uninstalling Abra
on the workstation, and providing access to Abra via terminal server.

Any one go thru the crystal patches and dlls to resolve this?
Crystal 8.5, Vantage 5.2, on a XP client.
If I use a Windows 2000 client, AP checks, PO's print fine. Move to a XP
Client the AP checks and PO's printed are missing data.
Any and all comments welcome.
I applied the crystal 8.5 patches.
Moved the Vantage DLL versions to the client. (msvcp60.dll, p2bxbse.dll,
p2sodbc.dll)
Still no luck.
