Assuming that the version of Crystal is the same as Vantage is using (8.5) then the issue is a mismatch between the .DLLs on the developer PCs and what is trying to be used by Vantage. 90% of the time it is in p2bxbse.dll, msvcp60.dll or crpe32.dll. Compare the version levels between the MFGSYSx\dll folder and the program files\seagate\crystal something or other folders (as well as in System32 folder) and make sure they are all using the latest version. Always rename any to be replaced as .dll-old or something just incase you need it back. But if these get out of synch between Vantage and the client PC then detail lines commonly disappear.
Another thought....have you applied the latest CR patches on the developer PCs? There are patches available at the Epicor FTP site in the Crystal section that should set the developer PCs to be the same as is being served to clients from the Vantage \dll folder.

If the customer has Crystal Reports 8.5, check the version. It should be 8.5.2.718 only. Versions prior to the 8.5.2.718 were known to cause data to disappear.
The customer can download the latest hot fix; cr85mainwin_en.zip and the compile and distribute patch for 8.5: scr8_distr_expert.exe from:
\MFG6\crystal\crystal85_all_patches.zip on the ftp site, ftpmpls.epicor.com. Both of these should be applied - first the cr85mainwin_en.zip and then the scr8_distr_expert.exe., finally the Crystal Decisions database and export patch.exe
If you still have problems with Crystal forms dropping data even with the appropriate patch as stated above, do a search on the problem workstation for: msvcp60.dll and p2bxbse.dll. Check the version of each of these files and compare it to the version of the files in the eMFG\dll folder or \MfgSys60\dll or \mfgsys61\dll folder. If the versions differ, rename the files on the workstation and copy the files from the eMFG\dll folder or \MfgSys60\dll folder.
It may be necessary delete the contents of the local working directory. For 6.00, that is the C:\epicor\mfgwk60 folder. For 6.10, that is the C:\epicor\mfgwrk61 folder.
If you have questions on this process, call technical support.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
These patches would be applied to the workstations that have Crystal only. But the two .DLLs refrenced above may need to be replaced on any Windows machine.
