Yes. Depending on what you want to pull the data form you can first create a query form another table (if it is pulling data from another table for the options) and then have the updateable field reference that. Or you can key in a list of values.

 

On the Update tab under the General Properties tab go to the advanced column editor configuration in the bottom right.

 

From there you can set the editor info on the field.Â

 

Change the editor type to drop-down list.

 

To just key in a drop-down value list chose  “data from” as custom values then enter the data below.Â

 

If you are referencing from another table you have to make the other query first then “data from” BAQ.

We are working on creating an updatable dashboard that will allow a UD field on the ShipDtl table to be updated, but we would like to create some sort of data validation or drop down list to select the value for the UD field. Almost like a UD reason code. Is there any way to accomplish this inside of an updatable dashboard?
