We have 3 Sales sites, 2 sites default to the main site when raising a sales order.
Is it possible to change this default?
Thanks, in advance.

Check your Product Groups to see if there is a Sales Site defined. If this is filled in, Sales Orders will default to that site. If it’s not filled in, they will default to whichever site you are logged-in to.
Thanks Tyler,
Defaulting to the site you are logged into is what I thought would happen, but one of our sales guys is having to change this with each order.
Product group unfortunately does not help, we sell all parts at all sites.
Logic is kind of confusing for me, all I can say is that you should look as Tyler mentioned to the Product Group “Sales Site”, but also to the Site tab for the Owner/Supply sites, and PartPlant records of type Transfer for the Transfer Plant.
Is the Part a SalesKit part? That also changes things.
Thanks Jonathon,
This is not a part specific problem, it’s across all parts.
Purchase orders behave that way, but not sales orders. I created a BPM to mimic that, though, where I force a product group based on the site that the user is logged into.
I think it might help to clarify that while parts do have product groups, you can use an utterly different group on the sales order line. We do that. Part of it is this, and part of it is accounting.
