DMT - Cash Receipts

Hi

I’m baffled by this…

DMT used to happily ingest these file formats but as of 11.2.300.3 I now getting a ReceiptAmt error. My Pilot is on 11.2.300.4 and production is on 11.2.300.5 (aside - pilot dmt just stopped working so was sent a little zip file with 4 files for just DMT). This is just a single line example. Normally have between 20-100 lines per day.

There is an Epicor case going no where at the moment (they can’t reproduce the error) logged several weeks ago now.

Have built a workaround using python and the REST API which basically takes these files and loads them but it is not really a long-term solution. It only works for me due to some technical knowledge and skills.

Have briefly tried re-arranging columns around but no such joy. And neither XLS, XLSX and CSV makes any difference.

And I am positive the column names are right as this ‘validates’.

Ideas?

Cheers

@sbenson When I was taught DMT troubleshooting we went into the client and either did a transaction with the same data to see what populated or in this case you can see what is not getting set in the AR Payment Group. We don’t use DMT for cash receipts, but I made a file from the DMT lab templates that works in 22.2. I am going to install 23.1 and then .5 on Monday and test the same file.

Well no testing today. In 2023.1 the standalone DMT license file no longer works.
I have requested a new license file for the app server from support and will test when I get it.

Well, I can confirm that the working file I had made in 22.2 gets the same error in 23.1 that you are getting and I found no evidence in the trace to get me around the error.

There are other threads about DMT in 23.1 having issues. Maybe it is related to those and the issue is not actually in cash receipts.
