DMT Tool was updated and throws execution error upon login

With our current E10 version now being 10.1.600.10. I saw that the DMT tool was outdated and wanted to update it to 4.0.24.0 to support 10.1.600. Now I read the installation guide and it simply seemed as drop and replace after extracting the new files. After doing so when I attempt to login to the DMT tool held in my local client directory I get the following error:

Error: Exception of type “Ice.Common.ConversionsPendingExceptionSM” was thrown.

Has anyone had this issue before? Looking at the other forums people replaced the original files and had no issues.

Can you launch your Epicor shortcut that is pointing to the same environment as your DMT instance and log in without issues?

That error seems to suggest that the database behind the appserver needs to be updated to the version of the appserver and not an issue with DMT itself.

Yes, I can log into the production instance via the manager account. The database is also the correct version as ICE = 3.1.600.10 and ERP = 10.1.600.10. Oddly enough it seems to have resolved it self after restarting the server.
