DMT won't let me process Quantity Adjust due to parentheticals in the columns it is lookingfor

I’m not certain it was clear. I understand what the columns should be and was using those names. The DMT shipped with my Dedicated Tenancy cloud client was in error. This DMT is sent along with all client patches and is done on Epicor’s cadence, we no longer can download DMT separately.

When I used the .zip provided by support those client names worked. The error was that the DMT in the DT version was looking for those other names as required, I only tried them to attempt to get past the error while waiting for support to contact me.

My issue is resolved now. Thanks for everyone who helped.

Wow am I furious right now. Gotta patch the server in the middle of a cutover because of this error.

But thank you @guruzim! If I had not seen this post three weeks ago, I would be freaking out right now!

I need to do some quantity adjustments before end of day today and just ran into this problem. Support solution is to update client to 10.2.500.8 – that is not possible at this point.

Does anyone have the version of DMT files that fix this in 10.2.500.7? I have over 10k entries to update and need to be able to do this with a mass update. Help!

@guruzim , @Edge – I realize it’s the holiday so not sure if you’re watching messages, but I desparately need a DMT version for 10.2.500.7 where the quantity adjustment works.

There is no list version in the screen to use paste insert as an option. If I don’t get the fixed DMT that means 10,889 manual transactions…

I haven’t tried qty adjust recently I hope it works. I too have a large number to do soon. I’m not in the office today to test it sorry

I’ve got an escalated call into support. EpicCare shows this issue was fixed in 10.2.500.8. We are on 10.2.500.7 and I just can’t update the client without testing and sign off from the business units…

If you’re 10.2.500.8 and above you should be good to go, but I would test before you end up in my situation :wink:

I drove in to work. There is a zip file “DMT QA Fix.zip” in my case from 2020. You should not accept files from me as a random person on the internet, especially for your financial system. If they pull up my case number CS0001858931 related to PRB0218343 they should be able to download that file and upload it into your case. TEST THIS IN YOUR DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT. I was able to download the zip just now so it is still in their system.

I do not recommend this course of action, it’s a terrible idea. I’m not a lawyer. I take no responsibility for any actions you take. This is not legal advice, technical support, or a good idea.

Just checked, Epicor - as you know Epicor took off the program files from downloads.

The version in my case ought to be the version for 10.2.500.7 based on the screenshots I can see that I posted in this thread before. If she can get support to move it to her case, it is the version I used to fix my issue when I had this issue.

Another reason this group is so great! I received a response quickly and within a couple of hours I had a working DMT and 10k adjustments loaded. MUCH faster than doing 10k manual adjustments!
