You can link directly to tables in progress using Access.
Epicor has a document called V800odbcKit.rtf
That describes how to setup an ODBC Connection.
I'll email you the file.
I have successfully pushed data into progress database.
When pushing data YOu can't push more than 7000 records. I don't kow
where this limit is imposed? PRogress? ODBC Connection? Access?
Suggestions anyone? I just broke my queries up to work around it.
I have pushed parts, BOM, Vendors, etc. Just have to ensure you enter
correct IDs and link everything together.
DEFINATELY BACKUP before doing this stuff.
good Luck
