E9.05 Product Configurator Dynamic List

Hi Mark,

We do have a page one but we don't use it.

I was playing with these setting for the page that the controls are on
with no luck.

I will give it a test with setting them on page one to see what happens.

Thanks for the idea.

Did you check the options on Page 1? There are some check boxes that
ask about when should dynamic lists be processed and if On Leave
events are processed on page load.

Hello,

We are testing 9.05.700A and we have a need for a combo-box to be the
first control on the page. This combo-box is setup as a dynamic list to
pull data using the GetTableData program. Where this needs to be the
first control on the page, I need it to be populated when the page
loads.

I can't seem to find a way to do this.

No matter what I try, I can only get the list to populate if I put a
control before it (in the tab order) and change its value.

This is not ideal because it's a seemingly unneeded step, from an end
user perspective.

I was wondering if anyone has a trick to make a dynamic list populate on
page load.

Not on .700 yet, maybe its a clitch in that version? We use the filecolselect.p or filerowselect.p program and variations of them to populate them from .csv currently (Trying to move away from that.). But I've noticed that sometimes weird things happen and don't populate my combo boxes if I have certain things set up in my on leave statement. I use an on external on leave statement by the way so don't know if something like that may be causing your issues.
