E9: After running all day, Epicor 9 client will not start

WOW Stephen!

Thanks so much. This worked perfectly.

I just checked the history and I did get windows updates today.

Thanks again!

Try this...

Right click the client,
Properties -> compatibility mode -> change to windows XP.
Start the client it will work.
Then close client.
Into properties again and turn off the compatibility mode.
It will then work fine.

If it works it is an issue with windows updates and .net code security
caches but this is the simplest fix.

Stephen

Subject: [Vantage] E9: After running all day, Epicor 9 client will not
start

Hi All,

I running Windows 7 Pro w/SP1 64 Bit.

I've been running on this laptop for over a year. Never a problem.

Now today, since 4:30PM EST, it will not start. Every time I try,
Mfgsys.exe crashes.

I doubt it matters but here is what happen just before.

While working Epicor support on a webex session, the tech deleted my
Live BPM folder from the server.

I immediately when into method directive and disabled and then enabled
all BPMs.

After that I has shut down my E9 client because it was running slow and
that was the end of it. It crashes every time.

Rebooted...still crashes.

Any ideas out there?
